Archeology Scientific Journal

Since 2017, Historical Archaeological Museum and Permanent Expedition has started operating at the European University. Since 2018, Archeological Institute named after Academician Andria Afakidze merged into the university’s scientific research space. At the base of the Museum, Institute and Permanent Expedition, has been published scientific-research journal “Archeology” since 2018. The magazine covers various research directions, including archaeology, history, historical geography, numismatics, toreutics, glyptics, religious history, paleometallurgy, and anthropology, etcCurrently, seven issues have been published, and Numbers 8 and 9 are in the process of being printed. All issues undergo a complete translation into Russian and English, and efforts are being made for their inclusion in international search databases.

The editorial board of the magazine comprises diverse contributors, including representatives from the university and scientific centre.

 A confidential review is scheduled for the near future, with plans to involve foreign reviewers in the process.
