On June 19, 2016, an international conference entitled "European Integration and Georgia" was organized and held by the European University at the Marriott Hotel. Especially for this event, professors from Ukraine, Poland, and Belarus arrived in Georgia. At the conference, the scientific community spoke about globalization and highlighted the challenges of Georgia's European integration.

The conference started with a plenary session, chaired by Givi Bedianashvili and Gocha Tutberidze, professors of the European University. Challenges of globalization, European integration process, economic development trends in small countries, sustainable development assessment, wireless security, taxes, business and auditing - these and other issues were discussed by Georgian and foreign professors during the session.
