"European University" Inaugurates First-Ever Erasmus+ International Staff Week

A historic moment unfolds at "European University" with the launch of its inaugural Erasmus+ International Staff Week, signaling a significant milestone for the institution. Welcoming a diverse cohort of 19 participants from 9 different countries and representing 12 universities, the event marks the beginning of a week filled with engaging academic insights and cross-cultural exchanges.

The day commenced with a convivial welcome, affording participants an opportunity to connect over coffee. Rector Nino Taliashvili set the tone for the week, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and exchange in the academic realm. Vice-Rector Sophio Khundadze provided an overview of the university's organizational structure, while Vice-Rector Tatia Dolidze shared valuable insights into the institution's internationalization efforts and objectives.

Deans and Program Heads from the Faculties of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Law, Education, Business, and Technology introduced participants to the array of programs offered at "European University."

The agenda also featured an insightful session led by Professional Tour Guide and European University Lecturer Lela Giorgadze, offering participants a deeper understanding of Georgia and its unique cultural tapestry. A language workshop conducted by an Invited Lecturer Ia Dochviri not only provided attendees with an introduction to the local language but also highlighted its distinctive features.

This week-long event promises a harmonious blend of academic exploration and cultural immersion over the course of 5 working days.
