A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between European University and "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Romania).

The agreement aims at supporting joint research activities, and educational projects and facilitating student as well as academic/administrative staff mobility.

It is noteworthy that European University and "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy has already taken the first steps with regard to the internationalization of the teaching and learning process, and extracurricular activities.

In particular, professors of "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy delivered online lecture series in the field of dentistry for students of the Faculty of Medicine of European University. In reciprocity, Romanian students attended the lectures led by professors of European University. Another cycle of lectures within the same framework is planned to be held in the near future.

It is also remarkable that Moayad Ismail, a student in the English-taught program of Medical Doctor at European University, will spend the Spring Semester at Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy during the academic year 2022-2023.  He has been selected for the international mobility program through an open competition based on the agreement between European University and Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
