Online lecture series on medical genetics was held for students of the Medical Doctor Program of the faculty of Medicine of European University, led by professors from a partner institution, Medical University of Sofia (Sofia, Bulgaria).

The lectures were mainly focused on topics in the field of reproductive genetics, chromosomal, mitochondrial, and congenital metabolic disorders, organization of the human genome, etc.

It is noteworthy that the lecture series was implemented on the basis of a bilateral agreement between the European University and the Medical University of Sofia, which facilitated the development of close cooperation between the parties.

Upon completion of the course, participants were awarded certificates by the Department of Medical Genetics at the Medical Faculty of Medical University - Sofia.
