Competition for Medical Doctor program students for clinical practice at Heidelberg University Hospital
The Faculty of Medicine of the European University announces a competition to select students from the Georgian and English-language Medical Doctor program for clinical practice at the Department of General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery at Heidelberg University Hospital (Germany).
The program is not intended to earn academic credits but is designed to help students improve their knowledge and skills.
Period of practice: February 3-7, 2025
Requirements for participation in the competition:
- The student's academic performance/GPA for the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year must be 3.0 or higher.
- Level of study – Georgian or English language Medical Doctor program students in 7th semester with an active student’s status.
Students will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Cover letter (in English)
- Interview in English
Those wishing to participate in the competition must send a motivation letter by e-mail to studentscompetition@eu.edu.ge by October 27.
Interviews with contestants will take place on October 29.
Based on the results of the competition, 10 students will be selected.
The results will be published no later than November 1.
Air tickets, hotel accommodation and program fees for selected students will be covered by the European University.
