On the initiative of the Arm Wrestling Student Club and organized by the Student and Alumni Service center at the European University the Arm Wrestling Championship was held.

The championship was opened by the current world champion of arm wrestling, the owner of the EAST vs WEST Belt and five-time European champion Irakli Zirakashvili.

Georgian and foreign students participated in the Arm Wrestling Championship. The Arm Wrestling Championship was held in 5 weight categories (60; 70; 80; 90+kg.), both in the right and left hands, and from all weight categories I, II and III place winners were identified.

The referee of the championship was Levan Kvaratskhelia, who is a European prize-winner and multiple-time champion of Georgia.

The Arm Wrestling Championship at the European University was held for the first time and will receive a systematic look.
