MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL WAS HELD AT EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY

On July 28, European University held the multicultural festival, the most colorful and musical evening of the year.
 
Students from more than 70 countries were represented in the yard of the European University student dormitory and shared their cultures with each other on the big stage.
 
The Georgian Choreographic Dance Ensemble of the European University opened the festival, after which foreign students continued the event with performances specially prepared for this day.
 
At the multicultural event, European University’s pop band gamorchEUli and EU Band also performed.
 
The head of the Choreographic ensemble is Paata Khurtsilava, and Tamar Gulua is the head of the gamorchEUli band.
 
Tamar Zarginava, the vice president of the university, attended the event together with the university leaders.
 
The vice president thanked the participating students for their organization and involvement.
 
"Such events contribute to the integration of international students with the local society, and that’s our goal. During this evening, representatives from more than 70 countries shared the culture of their countries, which is essential. European University will organize and implement a number of other activities to ensure that our students will have the opportunity to show their abilities along with quality education," Tamar Zarginava said.
 
The event was hosted by a specially invited guest, TV presenter Tika Patsatsia.
