European University at PXL International Staff Week – Building Bridges in Education

PXL
Nikoloz Parjanadze, Vice-Rector for International Relations at European University, represented the institution at the International Staff Week hosted by PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hasselt, Belgium.

The event brought together academic staff from universities across the world under the coordination of PXL’s International Relations Office. Sessions focused on sharing best practices in teaching, learning, and research – with particular emphasis on business and tourism education, communication studies, and journalism. A forward-looking highlight of the programme was dedicated to the discussion on integrating artificial intelligence into teaching and learning processes, and shaping pedagogy for the future.

Beyond the academic agenda, participants engaged with the cultural and social fabric of Belgium – exploring the distinct identity of the Flanders region, its language, history, and society, with a special focus on the city of Hasselt.

The Staff Week proved valuable both professionally and institutionally — fostering new connections with peers from around the globe and further strengthening the existing partnership between European University and PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
