On April 20, a workshop series titled “Professional Development Workshop in English Language Teaching” began at the European University

The workshop funded by the U.S. Department of State’s English Language Specialist Program is taking place on April 20, 21, 22, and 24 at the European University.
The workshop was opened on April 20 by Nikoloz Parjanaże, Vice-Rector for International Relations at the European University.

The workshop is led by Professor John Levis of Iowa State University. The intensive program covers TESOL methodology, the integration of innovations into the teaching process, an introduction to contemporary approaches, and consultations for doctoral students.

The workshop at the European University is being attended by English language teachers, researchers, and post-doctoral fellows in the field from higher education institutions and schools across Georgia.
