The 4th International Staff Week is being held at European University Georgia
The 4th International Staff Week at the European University represents a significant international academic initiative, bringing together academic and administrative staff from various countries and offering participants a diverse and dynamic program.
The second day of the week was dedicated to strategic partnerships, modern trends in internationalization, and the role of artificial intelligence in higher education institutions. The Vice-Rector for International Relations, Nikoloz Parjanadze, and the Head of the International Relations Office, Mariam Orjonikidze, delivered a presentation titled: “Trends in Internationalization – Mapping Motivations & Strategies / Workshop on Internationalization Strategies.”
Additionally, representatives of the International Relations Office, Tinatin Zaalishvili and Ana Markoidze, led a workshop on: “EU-funded Project Schemes: Opportunities and Best Practices.”
At the end of the day, Christel Manen, a representative of the Pixel University of Applied Sciences, conducted a session titled: “AI & Digital Tools in Automatization.”
The third day focused on the internationalization of research and curriculum. Aija Dimza, a representative of Alberta College (Latvia), shared insights with partners on inclusive education approaches and the integration of multicultural environments.
Yoav Eshet, a representative of Zefat Academic College, led a workshop on academic integrity and creativity, giving participants the opportunity to reflect on the importance of these issues in modern educational processes.
A session was also held on the topic: “Building International Research Collaborations: Strategies, Opportunities, and Realities,” delivered by Nino Machurishvili, a lecturer at the European University and a representative of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
In addition to academic sessions, the 4th International Staff Week also includes informal and cultural activities. As part of the program, guests explored the landmarks of Tbilisi and visited the Kakheti region, including Sighnaghi and Bodbe, providing them with an opportunity to better experience Georgia’s culture and history.
