Intensive Certified Training Course – “Evolution and Integration of International Law”

From 20 April to 1 May 2026, European University hosted a 10-day intensive certified training course titled – “Evolution and Integration of International Law”, organized by the University’s Law Institute.

The course was led by invited international expert Professor Kieran Shanahan (JD, North Carolina, USA), who has been recognized among the top 100 lawyers in the United States.

The program combined both theoretical and practical components and covered the major stages of the development of international law, contemporary trends, and the comparative analysis of various legal systems.

Within the framework of the course, participants were given the opportunity to explore the functioning and practical characteristics of different legal traditions.

The learning process integrated lectures with practical exercises, ensuring both academic and applied engagement.

The course was particularly relevant in light of contemporary international challenges and ongoing global developments.

Upon completion of the programme, participants were awarded certificates of participation, while those who successfully passed the final assessment received certificates of achievement.

The program brought together practicing lawyers, law students from various universities across Georgia, and individuals interested in issues related to international law.
