Lecture-Masterclass at European University – “Photography in Dentistry”

On May 24 at 11:00, a lecture-masterclass on the topic – “Photography in Dentistry- From Macro Fundamentals to Digital Workflow” will be held at European University.

The course is designed for professionals in the field of dentistry and includes a theoretical module as well as a practical, interactive working session.

The lecture will be led by Ali Rachid, PhD in Architecture and Design.

The program covers the technical fundamentals of macro photography, lighting characteristics, and compositional standards used in dental photography.

Participants will learn the optimisation of photographic equipment, the effective use of clinical accessories (retractors, mirrors, contrastors, rubber dams), as well as accurate colour and texture reproduction.

The final part of the course will be dedicated to the digital workflow. Using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, participants will be enabled to create high-quality visual materials for effective communication with laboratories, patient education, and the development of professional portfolios.
