International Staff Week 2026

From 20 to 24 April 2026, European University hosted its 4th International Staff Week.

The programme combined academic, cultural, and informal activities. Organized by the International Relations Office, throughout the week, participants took part in presentations, working sessions, and workshops focusing on contemporary trends in internationalization, the development of strategic partnerships, European Union-funded projects, the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in higher education, the internationalization of research and curricula, inclusive education, and academic integrity.

Sessions were delivered by representatives of both European University and its partner higher education institutions.

During the week, participants had the opportunity to present their universities, share experiences, and discuss prospects for future cooperation, further strengthening the international partnership network.

Alongside the academic programme, a range of cultural activities was organized for the guests. Participants explored the main attractions of Tbilisi and visited the Kakheti region, including Sighnaghi and Bodbe, where they learned more about Georgia’s history, culture, and traditions.

International Staff Week serves as an important platform for the exchange of experience, the strengthening of professional networks, and the advancement of international cooperation. It is also one of the key components of European University’s internationalization strategy.
