European University Representatives Participated in International Academic Week 2026 in Ljubljana

From May 18 to 22, 2026, International Academic Week 2026 was held in Ljubljana, organized by B2 Ljubljana School of Business, with the participation of the academic staff of European University.

As part of the event, the University’s representatives delivered workshops to an international audience on modern educational technologies and the digital transformation of higher education.

Professor Besik Tabatadze, Head of the Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science, conducted a workshop entitled “AI Assistant for Professors – Personalized Learning in Higher Education,” which focused on the opportunities for applying artificial intelligence in higher education, the analysis of students academic progress, and modern approaches to creating personalized learning recommendations.

Associate Professor Giorgi Nikolaishvili delivered a workshop entitled “Blockchain Beyond Bitcoins – Reshaping Credentials, Ownership and Trust in Education,” which explored the role of blockchain technology in education, including the development of digital credentials, ensuring data integrity and trustworthiness, and the transformation of academic processes.

International Academic Week 2026 brought together representatives of higher education institutions and organizations from various countries.

The program included international workshops, experience-sharing sessions, professional discussions, and activities aimed at strengthening international academic cooperation.
