Educational Programme of Business Administration – Finance and Audit (GEO) (180 ECTS)

Why Educational Programme of Business Administration – Finance and Audit (180 ECTS) at European University?

The European University's undergraduate program in Business Administration - Finance and Audit has been developed in alignment with modern higher education standards and the requirements of local and international labor markets. The program integrates the successful experiences of leading Georgian and international universities while addressing the growing demand for qualified financial professionals in Georgia's evolving economy.

The learning environment, which conforms to contemporary international standards, together with a comprehensive educational process, provides the following advantages:

  • An optimally structured curriculum that combines foundational business knowledge with specialized finance and accounting expertise. The program focuses on understanding business environments, financial management principles, international financial reporting standards, and audit processes; developing skills in financial analysis, decision-making, and resource management; and applying accounting principles, taxation planning, and risk assessment methods essential for financial management.
  • A mandatory internship component (5 ECTS), exclusive to the final semester, which emphasizes the practical application of knowledge gained throughout the program. This internship aims to help students develop practical skills in real work environments, applying theoretical knowledge to specific business situations in finance and accounting. It strengthens students' abilities in financial documentation preparation, data analysis, problem-solving, and professional activity implementation in compliance with ethical principles.
  • A flexible study structure that allows students to create their own profile by combining compulsory courses (140 ECTS), elective courses in the main field (20 ECTS), and free component courses (20 ECTS), enabling deeper specialization in specific areas of finance and accounting based on individual interests and career goals.

In addition to their studies, students can:

  • Participate in interactive learning activities including case-based learning, problem-solving, business simulations, and project-based learning that mirror real-world financial scenarios;
  • Develop competencies that meet the requirements of both local and international labor markets, making them competitive for positions in financial management, accounting, and audit across private, public, and non-governmental sectors;
  • Continue their education at master's level programs in Georgia or internationally upon graduation.
