European University Representatives Attend the SESAM 2026 Annual Conference in Lyon

Representatives of European University are attending the SESAM 2026 Annual Conference, organized by the Society for Simulation in Europe (SESAM), taking place in Lyon, France, from 17-19 June. The conference brings together representatives of universities, hospitals, and healthcare institutions from around the world.

Representing European University at the conference are Tamar Zarginava, Vice President of the University; Natia Jojua, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Lasha Dolidze, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Program Development and Head of the Simulation Center; and Tinatin Gognadze, Head of the Medical Doctor (MD) Program.

The conference is dedicated to advancing simulation-based education in healthcare. Throughout the event, participants discuss current challenges, achievements, and future directions in medical simulation while exploring innovative educational approaches, practical experience, and the latest developments in simulation-based learning.

The conference also provides an opportunity for European University representatives to establish professional connections with colleagues from international institutions and to discuss prospects for future collaboration and joint projects.
