Poster Presentation of European University Students Awarded at an International Medical Congress

On 12 – 14 October, students of the Georgian-language Medical Doctor Program at European University Mariam Goguadze and Avtandil Gobejishvili participated in the annual conference of the World Congress on Itch, held in Heidelberg, Germany.

The congress was attended by dermatologists, nephrologists, neurologists, traumatologists and physicians from various other medical fields representing different countries around the world.

At the conference, the students of European University presented a poster titled – “Comprehensive Review of Scabies: Pathogenesis, Diagnosis, and Treatment Strategies.”

Following the evaluation by the committee, their work was selected among the top three posters, and the students were awarded a monetary prize.
