“Simulation Competition” for MD Program Students – Registration is now open

The Faculty of Medicine at European University announces a student team-based project, “Simulation Competition”.

The aim of the competition is to develop clinical reasoning, practical skills, and teamwork in a simulated environment.

Competition Structure:

The competition will be conducted in several stages:

Stage I: Registration of interested participants & team formation
Stage II: Training session covering key clinical algorithms
Stage III: Teams will perform simulated clinical tasks
Stage IV (Semi-final): Selected teams will complete more complex clinical scenarios

Final Stage: The top three teams will compete in a final simulation task, based on which the winner of the competition will be determined

Evaluation Criteria:

Participants will be evaluated by a specially appointed committee based on the following criteria:

• Accuracy of clinical reasoning and decision-making
• Sequence and appropriateness of actions (management strategy)
• Teamwork and communication
• Effective time management

Eligibility Criteria:

Participation is open to students of the Medical Doctor (MD) program (both Georgian- and English-taught) at European University who are currently in semesters VII–XII and hold active student status.

• A short motivation letter
• Contact information (name, surname, and current semester)
