Nikoloz Parjanadze

Vice-Rector for International Relations at European University

Nikoloz Parjanadze is Vice-Rector for International Relations and Professor of Education at European University, where he has been a faculty member since 2021.

He holds a PhD in Philology specializing in Anglo-American Linguistics (2010) and earned his master's degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of London's Institute of Education (now UCL Institute of Education) as a British Government Chevening Scholar (2008).

His academic career includes participation in the prestigious Fulbright Visiting Scholars Program at the University of Arkansas (2019), where he conducted research on higher education internationalization.

From 2021 to 2024, he served as Head of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Department at Georgia's National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, participating in shaping quality standards across Georgian universities.

With over two decades of teaching experience at universities in Georgia and abroad, he has delivered courses at Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral levels in linguistics, educational leadership, management, education policy and sociology, and research methods for education. His publications focus on educational leadership, management research and practice, and higher education quality assurance.

Throughout his professional career, he has worked in various academic and administrative positions.

Working Experience:

  • From 2021-2024 - Head of Higher Education Quality Assurance Department at National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement
  • From 2018-2021 - an expert in Higher Education Institution Authorization and Educational Program Accreditation at the LEPL - National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement
  • From 2005-2019 - an English language examiner at the LEPL - National Assessment and Examinations Center
  • 2019 - participated in the Fulbright Visiting Scholars Program and visited the University of Arkansas (USA), where he researched higher education internationalization issues
  • Since 2003, Nikoloz has been an author or co-author of scientific articles, books, and book chapters, and these publications reflect his academic interests in Anglo-American linguistics, educational leadership, and management research and practice
