EU Policies: Managing Climate-Related Risks Through Law, Land and Forest Governance.\u201d<\/b><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The course aims to introduce participants to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Key climate concepts (mitigation vs. adaptation; climate risk)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The structure of EU climate policy<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The role of land and forests in EU climate governance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Practical application of EU policy principles through simulations and group work<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Key elements of Georgia\u2019s climate policy and its alignment with EU approaches<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Brief information about the course trainers:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><b>Maro\u0161 Pavlovi\u010d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava; Assistant Professor at the Department of Administrative and Environmental Law.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>\u013dudov\u00edt M\u00e1\u010daj<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava, working in the field of administrative, environmental, land, and agricultural law.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Matus Michalovic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava, specializing in administrative and environmental law.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Salome Tsurtsumia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211;
