{"id":58341,"date":"2026-03-27T15:24:22","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T11:24:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eu.edu.ge\/?p=58341"},"modified":"2026-03-27T15:31:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T11:31:54","slug":"simulation-competition-for-md-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eu.edu.ge\/en\/simulation-competition-for-md-program\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cSimulation Competition\u201d for MD Program Students \u2013 Registration is now open"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Faculty of Medicine at European University announces a student team-based project, \u201cSimulation Competition\u201d.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aim of the competition is to develop clinical reasoning, practical skills, and teamwork in a simulated environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Competition Structure:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The competition will be conducted in several stages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Stage I:<\/strong> Registration of interested participants &amp; team formation<br \/>\n<strong>Stage II:<\/strong> Training session covering key clinical algorithms<br \/>\n<strong>Stage III:<\/strong> Teams will perform simulated clinical tasks<br \/>\n<strong>Stage IV<\/strong> (Semi-final): Selected teams will complete more complex clinical scenarios<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Final Stage:<\/strong> The top three teams will compete in a final simulation task, based on which the winner of the competition will be determined<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Evaluation Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Participants will be evaluated by a specially appointed committee based on the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Accuracy of clinical reasoning and decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Sequence and appropriateness of actions (management strategy)<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork and communication<\/li>\n<li>Effective time management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participation is open to students of the Medical Doctor (MD) program (both Georgian- and English-taught) at European University who are currently in semesters VII\u2013XII and hold active student status.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants must submit the following via email:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A short motivation letter<\/li>\n<li>Contact information (name, surname, and current semester)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>April 17, 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Email:<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Simulationcenter@eu.edu.ge<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Location:<\/strong> European University, Building B, 17 Sarajishvili Ave.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty of Medicine at European University announces a student team-based project, \u201cSimulation Competition\u201d.
