On December 7, the 5th International Conference “Education, Technologies and Innovation” (ICETI 2025) was held by European University<\/b> and Central University of Europe<\/b><\/a><\/span>\u00a0in cooperation with the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement.<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n

The theme of the 2025 conference was Future-Oriented Curriculum and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>\n

The conference was opened by Nino Taliashvili, Rector of European University<\/b>, and Gocha Tutberidze, Rector of Central University of Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    This year’s conference featured three keynote speakers who presented interesting and practical findings around the main theme:<\/p>\n

      Professor Dr. Maurizio Tira<\/b>, University of Brescia, Italy<\/a> <\/span>\u2013 “Sustaining Sustainable Development: Universities as Engines of Change”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Professor, Dr. Mihai Boros<\/b>, University of Szeged, Institute of Surgical Research, Hungary<\/a> <\/span>\u2013 “Simulation Skills Training as a Prerequisite for Sustained Growth in Medical Education”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Professor, Dr. Nikoloz Parjanadze<\/b>, European University, Georgia<\/a> \u2013 “Beyond the Algorithm: Reclaiming Higher Education as Public Good in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The 5th International Conference “ICETI 2025”, conducted at the European University, was attended by around 150 educational representatives.<\/p>\n

      Throughout the day, participants engaged in intensive sessions and learned about nearly 40 presentations, which provided a common platform for education professionals, researchers, experts, and policymakers. The discussions covered sharing best practices in teaching and learning, deliberating on improving existing strategies, and development at both the school and higher education levels.<\/p>\n

      European University systematically organises conferences with international experts to promote the formation of a knowledge society and the development of scientific\/research activities in Georgia, emphasising the organisation’s culture of active participation in the higher education development process.<\/p>\n
