The conference was opened by the Rector of the European University, Nino Taliashvili, the Vice-Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Tamar Tsereteli, and the Head of the Competitive Innovation Fund Administration Unit, Ana Gomelauri. The speakers emphasized the importance of effective collaboration between partner higher education institutions for the success of the project and the development of the veterinary field.<\/p>\n
During the event, the project working group presented to the attendees an overview of the activities carried out within the project framework and the results achieved.<\/p>\n
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to listen to thematic presentations. Associate Professor at the European University, Maia Beruashvili, presented the results of the state certification exams for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.<\/p>\n
Professor at the Georgian Technical University, Tea Oshkhereli, focused on issues of professional competencies for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.<\/p>\n
The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the European University, Marika Bokuchava, discussed the need and challenges of modernizing the procedures for conducting OSCE\/OSPE.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Integrated Master’s Program in Veterinary Medicine at the Georgian Technical University, Levan Tsitskishvili, presented in detail the modernization process of educational programs and the results achieved.<\/p>\n
The event held particular significance for the academic circles of the veterinary field, industry experts, and other interested parties who actively participate in the national and international development and improvement processes of veterinary education.
