University,&#8221; organized by the Faculty of Medicine.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"3\">The conference was opened by the Rector of &#8220;European University,&#8221; <b>Nino Taliashvili<\/b>, after which the attendees were addressed by <b>Maia Zhamutashvili<\/b>, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine of &#8220;European University.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"4\">The Chairpersons of the conference were:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\"><b>Marina Endeladze<\/b> \u2013 Professor at European University, Head of the Department at the Center for Infectious Pathology<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\"><b>Zaza Avaliani<\/b> \u2013 Doctor of Medicine, Affiliated Professor at European University and Head of the Department of Pathology, Director of the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\"><b>Ramaz Kurashvili<\/b> \u2013 Doctor of Medicine, Affiliated Professor at European University and Head of the Department of Endocrinology, Chairman of the Union of Diabetes and Endocrinological Associations of Georgia, Expert in Endocrinology at the Ministry of Health.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"6\">The conference was attended by Vice-Rectors of &#8220;European University,&#8221; the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, faculty administration, academic\/invited personnel, and representatives of the field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"7\">Experts in the field presented the following topics at the
