European University Faculty of Medicine announces a contest for the positions of the Editor in Chief and 3 Editors of Medical Student.
\nMedical Student is an annual online journal, produced by European University, which publishes the best of student research from the university student community as well as around the world.<\/p>\n
Functions of the Editor in Chief<\/strong><\/p>\n Functions of the Editors<\/strong><\/p>\n Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n The journal publishes papers on all aspects of bioscience, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, medical science, behaviour, ecology, pharmacology, biotechnology, genetics, sports science, biology and neuroscience.<\/p>\n Selection Process<\/strong><\/p>\n The selection of the candidates of the Editor in Chief and 3 Editors will go through two stages. Stage two<\/strong><\/p>\n at the second stage, selected candidates should pass the interview concerning their knowledge in medicine and editorial functions. The candidates will be judged according to their communication skills as well. The second part also includes a written test concerning the editorial job. Assessment criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n Interview<\/em><\/p>\n General knowledge in medicine \u2013 maximum 25 points. Writing<\/em><\/p>\n Written exam on the editorial work – maximum 25 points.<\/p>\n Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n The candidates should be aware of the basic notions of the referred materials:<\/p>\n Requirements for the candidates to qualify for the competition<\/strong><\/p>\n Deadline of sending your information: \u00a06\u00a0\u00a0 July\u00a0\u00a02019. \nAt the first stage<\/strong>, the commission will select the relevancy of the documents against the criteria.<\/p>\n
\nThreshold to get selected: for the Editor in Chief \u2013 not less than 70 points, for editors \u2013 not less than 60.<\/p>\n
