Sciencedirect.com<\/a><\/strong> is a website that provides subscription-based access to a large database of scientific and medical research. \u00a0 ScienceDirect is operated by the Anglo-Dutch\u00a0publisher Elsevier. It was launched in March 1997. It hosts over 12 million pieces of content from 3,500 academic journals and 34,000 e-books. The journals are grouped into four main sections:\u00a0Physical Sciences and Engineering,\u00a0Life Sciences,\u00a0Health Sciences, and\u00a0Social Sciences and Humanities. Article abstracts are freely available, but access to their full texts (in PDF and, for newer publications, also HTML) generally requires a subscription pay-per-view purchase.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

scopus.com<\/a><\/strong> is Elsevier\u2019s abstract and citation database launched in 2004. Scopus covers nearly 36,377 titles from approximately 11,678 \u00a0 publishers, of which 34,346 are peer-reviewed\u00a0journals in top-level subject fields:\u00a0life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences. It covers three types of sources: book series, journals, and trade journals. All journals covered in the Scopus database, regardless of who they are published under, are reviewed each year to ensure high-quality standards are maintained. Medline\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 This is a source of respected medical information that contains information on various fields of medicine such as nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical subjects, and more. This database is designed by MEDLINE - the National Library of Medicine - and uses the MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) index allowing access to more than 5600 current medical editions.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Health Source : Consumer Edition + Nursing\/Ac ademic Edition\u00a0<\/strong> \u2013 Offers more than 1000 scientific texts on medical disciplines, including Critical Patients Care, Mental Health, Psychiatric Treatment for Children and Adults, Nursing, Management of Nurses, Nursing Ethics, Dependence and Rehabilitation Counseling, Medical Law, Reproductive Medicine, Environmental Protection and Health Care, etc. (Health Source: Consumer Edition and Nursing\/Academic Edition).<\/p>

Academic Search Elite \u2013<\/strong>Consists of various academic resources and thousands of journal texts, abstracts, and indexed journals on various subjects. Database in most journals consists of PDF files.\u00a0Academic Search Elite\u00a0also offers access to the video materials of the world-leading information agency \u201cAssociated Press\u201d. The video material appropriate for the words entered in the search field will appear in the results.\u00a0The database contains video materials created since 1930 and they are updated in a monthly manner. The database adapted to the needs of the researchers contains valuable and varied, multidisciplinary materials that enable access to accounting, banking and finance, international business, marketing, sales, and other disciplines as well as to full texts of journals and publications, and other important resources.<\/p>

Business Source Elite\u00a0 \u2013<\/strong>This resource offers scientific journals in business, management, and economics. The collection contains a variety of topics, such as Accounting, banking, finance, marketing, sales, and other released publications. The database offers access to the video archive of the world-leading news agency Associated Press, which contains a wide variety of materials from 1930 to the present. The video archive is updated monthly.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Regional Business\u00a0 News\u00a0\u00a0\u2013<\/strong>This is<\/span>\u00a0a diverse database that offers full texts on business publications in the US and Canada. It covers any information, whether it is the biographies of presidential candidates, restaurant franchises or trade networks, business planning, or political involvement. Regional Business News gets content from leading publishers such as The Business Post, The Washington Post, PR Newswire US, and others. The main resources are newspapers, radio and television news transcripts, full publications, and magazines throughout the last 20 years.\u00a0<\/p>

Newspaper Source<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013<\/strong>Offers complete TV and radio news transcripts from the following channels: CBS News, CNN, CNN International, FOX News, NPR, and others. This database offers full text from hundreds of national (US), international and regional newspapers. Also, it offers transcripts of TV and radio news programs.<\/p>

ERIC\u00a0(the\u00a0<\/strong>Education<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Resource<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Information<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Center)<\/strong> \u2013<\/strong><\/p>

Offers information from various magazines that are indexed as Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. The database contains more than 1.4 million records and offers links to more than 337 000 full texts.\u00a0<\/p>

MasterFILE\u00a0\u00a0ELITE\u00a0<\/strong> \u2013 Specially created for public libraries. This database contains up to 1700 periodicals which will provide you with information about the business, health, education, science, multiculturalism, and many other areas.
