The 18th Student Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Dentistry and Medicine was held at the European University

At the conference, students of Medical doctor, Dentistry and Psychology programs presented scientific presentations based on the results of their research. In addition to students from the European University, students from other Universities of Georgia also took part in the 18th student scientific conference.
Under the guidance of academic and invited staff, students conducted research related to various issues of Medicine, Dentistry and Psychology.
Presentations were followed by discussions and students answered questions from the audience.
The evaluation of the conference participants was carried out by members of a special scientific committee:

The winners of the special nomination “Best clinical case discussion” were:
Student of the Georgian-language medical doctor program of the European University: Mariami Jojua, topic: “The impact of weight loss after bariatric surgery on pregnancy outcomes”
Student of the Georgian-language medical doctor program of the European University: Keti Mamulashvili, topic: “Guillain-Barré Syndrome”
The winners were awarded by the members of the committee and representatives of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
All conference participants were awarded certificates. Students who secured first, second, and third place were awarded special prizes and monetary rewards by the European University.
