Professor Ramaz Kurashvili in recognition of World Diabetes Day delivered a public lecture to MD program students

On November 14, 2023, in recognition of World Diabetes Day, Professor Ramaz Kurashvili , affiliated professor at the Faculty of Medicine of European University, Head of the Department of Endocrinology, and a member of the International Diabetes Federation , delivered a public lecture to MD program students.

The topic of the lecture was: “Diabetes Mellitus – A Global Pandemic of the 21st Century: From Risk Factors to Prevention”.

During the lecture, Professor Kurashvili spoke about the growing global prevalence of diabetes, the main risk factors associated with the disease, and the importance of preventive measures.
