On April 14, 2025, an online training session was conducted for the academic and invited staff of European University on the topic: “Moodle Direct, Plagiarism Plugin, AI Detector.”
The training primarily focused on identifying AI-generated texts and accurately interpreting Turnitin-generated reports. Jeroen Vanderbiesen, an international consultant from Turnitin, led the session. He provided an in-depth overview of the platform’s features, explained the AI detection mechanisms, and demonstrated how to read and analyze reports using real-life examples.
The meeting was conducted in an interactive format. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers on issues that were important and relevant to them.
