On March 6, 7, 8, 2026, the IV International Scientific Session will be held at European University

On March 6, 7, 8, 2026, the IV International Scientific Session organized by the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia, and the European University’s Academician Andria Apakidze Institute of Archaeology will be held at European University.

The session will present field research reports from archaeological expeditions.

The session commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician Malkhaz Abdushelishvili and will bring together Georgian scholars (from research centers in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Mtskheta, Kutaisi, Batumi, and Telavi) as well as foreign archaeologists (from Austria and Poland).
