European University's International Staff Week in Tbilisi unfolded as a comprehensive journey, immersing participants in the academic, cultural, and institutional facets of the host university. Over the course of five enriching days, international guests and colleagues from across Europe engaged in a diverse range of activities that fostered collaboration, understanding, and appreciation.

The week commenced with an introduction to the university's faculties and programs, providing participants with a deepened understanding of the academic landscape. This was followed by an insightful presentation on Georgia, elucidating its unique characteristics and cultural nuances. A special workshop in the Georgian language further enhanced cultural immersion.

The second day unfolded amidst the historical charm of Tbilisi's old town. Participants embarked on a sightseeing tour, exploring the city's rich history, and delved into the cultural treasures housed in the National Museum and National Gallery.

On the third day, the focus shifted to the university's facilities, spanning three campuses, a university hospital, dental clinic, and a dormitory. The exploration extended to Kutaisi University, another affiliated institution, further broadening the participants' understanding of European University's network. The day culminated in a painting workshop, with participants depicting iconic “fisherman” of Pirosmani – the renowned Georgian painter they had been introduced to during the visit to the National Gallery.

The fourth day transported participants to Eastern Georgia, where they visited the Museum of Georgian Winemaking and engaged in hands-on masterclasses. From churchkhela preparation to bread making and khinkali wrapping, participants delved into the intricacies of Georgian culinary traditions. The experience reached its zenith with an authentic Kakhetian supra, where participants savored Georgian "kvevri" wine and chacha, providing a truly immersive and rich encounter with the cultural and gastronomic tapestry of the region.

The final day was marked by face-to-face meetings, fostering discussions on internationalization, academic cooperation, and science and research opportunities. A visit to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, offered historical insights before the week culminated in a grand Gala Dinner, celebrating the achievements and enduring partnerships forged during the International Staff Week.
