The student fishing club of the European University made its debut outings.
The first outdoor event was held on October 8 at Oasis Lake, where club members attended the children’s fishing championship as judges.
After the tournament, in collaboration with the Georgian Fishing Club, they identified the winners and awarded them.
On October 15, the fishing club held its first indoor championship at Buata Lakes with an outdoor event. The championship winners were determined based on the number of fish they caught and were awarded prizes.
The purpose of the championship was to spread fish to different protected lakes. The fish caught on Buata Lakes were taken by the club members to Oasis Lakes, where the tournaments will be held in the future.
