European University Hosted IGS Group (France) Representatives in a Reciprocal Visit

On July 10-14, 2023, European University had the privilege of hosting representatives from Groupe IGS Lyon's International Relations department, including Valida Mechri, Maddalena Cremonesi, and Oumaima Moudnib as part of the Erasmus+ Mobility Program for Staff Training. It was a reciprocal visit that further solidified the commitment to exploring opportunities for further academic and cultural exchange between the two institutions.

An important topic of discussion was the upcoming Erasmus Days event organized by Groupe IGS. European University's Dean of the Faculty of Law, Education, Business, and Technology, Dr. Ioseb Kelenjeridze and the Head of the Business Administration Program. Dr. Ekaterine Natsvlishvili, were kindly invited for a teaching mobility during the event. Additionally, invitations were extended to the Rector, Nino Taliashvili and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Tatia Dolidze for administrative mobility.

The Erasmus Days will be held in October 2023, in three different cities of France, serving as an opportunity for European University staff to engage in academic lectures and foster administrative networking across Lyon, Paris, and Toulouse.Notably, the French partners expressed their appreciation for the presence of French-speaking staff members at European University allowing them to deliver lectures in French, during their potential future visits for the purpose of teaching within the IGS group in France.  

The highlight of the meetings was positive feedback received on the exceptional quality of students sent by European University for traineeship placements at the IGS Campus in Lyon. As a reflection of their positive impression, French partners kindly offered additional traineeship quotas for European University students at the IGS Group.

In addition to the productive meetings and a campus tour, European University arranged a few activities for the esteemed guests from France, aiming to facilitate their meaningful immersion into the local culture,  serving as a testament to the European University' commitment towards creating a welcoming and enriching environment for international collaboration.
