Exploring Enhanced Collaboration Opportunities: Austrian University of Applied Sciences Representative Visits European University, Georgia

On 20th June 2023, Mag.a Christa Koppensteiner, an International Relations Staff Member from FH Burgenland, University of Applied Sciences in Austria, visited European University to engage in fruitful discussions regarding the prospects of furthering the existing collaboration. The meetings brought together the European University management, including esteemed Rector, Nino Taliashvili and Vice Rector for International Affairs, Tatia Dolidze.

Mag.a Christa Koppensteiner and the European University representatives deliberated on strategies to strengthen the partnership. Building upon the foundation established by the Memorandum of Understanding between European University and FH Burgenland, the discussions focused on outlining concrete steps towards internationalization.

Both parties agreed to pursue Erasmus staff and student exchanges under the KA171 call, and to collaborate on the submission of an international project proposal, aiming to secure grant funding for the joint internationalization activities, prioritizing the advancement of joint research endeavors.

Noteworthy for its history spanning over 25 years, FH Burgenland is renowned for its unique degree programs that blend theoretical knowledge with practical training. With campuses located in Eisenstadt and Pinkafeld, the institution has fostered a reputation for producing exceptional graduates who have gone on to occupy prominent positions throughout Austria
