French Scholar Engages with European University Colleagues and Joins Editorial Board of University's Journal

On June 12-16, Professor Francois Masclanis from ICD Business School in Toulouse, France, visited European University as part of the International Credit Mobility program of Erasmus+. During his visit, Professor Masclanis, an esteemed expert in Economics and Geopolitics with a Doctorate in Political Science, engaged with faculty members at European University. His presentation on "Cartographic Presentation of Major Economics and Geopolitical Topics in the Globalized World" sparked stimulating discussions among colleagues.

It is important to highlight that international staff mobilities for teaching purposes have significant benefits, not only for students but also for academic staff, as they enable mutual learning and the broadening of perspectives. The exchange of ideas and experiences enhances collective knowledge, inspiring impactful research collaborations beyond the confines of the classroom.

In addition to his presentation, Professor Masclanis held a significant working meeting with his francophone colleagues, including Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Tatia Dolidze, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Education, Business, and Technology, Ioseb Kelenjeridze. The discussions centered around fostering collaboration and exploring opportunities for academic cooperation.

As a tangible outcome, Professor Masclanis has joined the editorial board of the esteemed peer-reviewed journal, Globalization and Business, published by the university-based Institute of Economic and Social Issues of Globalization. His involvement in the journal will bring fresh perspectives and expertise, ensuring the maintenance of high standards and further enhancing its international reputation.
