Eka Kokheridze, assistant at European University, has been on a working visit to Akkon University of Human Sciences

Assistant of the European University and researcher of the Medicine Research Center, Eka Kokheridze, has been on a working visit to Berlin at Akkon University of Human Sciences. During the course of three months, she took part in various important events and established new connections.

Within the framework of the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the host university, its Institute for Research on International Assistance (IRIA), and the European University.

Cooperation aims at the mobility of academic and research staff of the faculty, the mobility of undergraduate and graduate students (if any), the production of joint research projects, the facilitation of lectures, research workshops, and symposiums, as well as the exchange of information and academic publications.

During her visit to Berlin, Eka Kokheridze presented a report on behalf of the European University at two international symposiums: the 6th Scientific Symposium on the occasion of Tuberculosis Day and the 5th IRIA Symposium on Global Health "Shaping the Future of the Health System". She also attended two congresses: the BMC Health Congress and the Congress on Health, Environment, and Sustainability.
In addition, meetings with existing and new partners were held in Berlin, and preparations for the "Horizon Europe" competition on the basis of the European University began.
