Representative of the International Relations Office visited Daugavpils University
From December 12th to December 18th, 2022, Mariam Mania, the International Projects and Bilateral Mobility Manager of European University, visited Daugavpils University (Latvia) in the framework of the Erasmus+ International Staff Mobility program.
Within the scope of the working visit, Mariam Mania held meetings with the Daugavpils University Erasmus Departmental Coordinator, Inese Hodanova, Senior Specialist of Cooperation Issues, Liene Leikuma Rimicāne, Erasmus+ Program Incoming Mobility Coordinator, Karolīna Hrapāne, Project Manager in International Students Recruitment, Ilona Maksimčika, Project Coordinator Assistant, Jeļena Grodņa and the Head of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology, Dr.biol., docent Irēna Kaminska.
During the meetings at Daugavpils University, the counterparts discussed the perspectives of organizing joint internationalization activities in the direction of various educational programs, as well as the prospects of scientific-research cooperation in the field of medicine.
It should be noted that Daugavpils University expressed its readiness to include “European University” in the application for the 2023 Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program. The International Relations Office has already submitted the relevant form to the partner institution.
