Presentation of the Policy Paper “Teaching European Values in Georgian Schools” was held at European University
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Project, the presentation of the Policy Paper “Teaching European Values in Georgian Schools” was held at European University.
The event was opened by the Rector of European University, Nino Taliashvili.
The purpose of the Policy Paper is to encourage critical reflection among the education experts, school directors, Ministry of Education, and other relevant local or international actors on the challenges standing in the way of Europeanizing Georgian secondary education system, and to give specific policy recommendations.
The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, and Educational Resource Centers. In addition, the principals of regional public schools involved in the project, student-researchers, and other stakeholders also attended this event.
The meeting was concluded with roundtable discussions between the stakeholders.
