An international online conference for young scientists and students, entitled "Educational, Cultural and Artistic practices” was held

An international online conference for young scientists and students, entitled "Educational, Cultural and Artistic practices” was held. The conference was organized by Khortytsia National Academy of Ukraine and co-organized by European University, Georgia.

On behalf of European University, the lecturer of the BA program in International Relations, Nino Kukhianidze gave a speech on the topic of “ Significance of Peace Education for Post-Conflict Settings".  The aim of the presented paper was to understand if education systems help the development of peace processes in post-conflict settings and if the idea of implementing peace education into the formal curriculum could advance prospects for peace. In this context, cases of the South Caucasus countries as well as post-WWII Japan and Germany were discussed.

It is noteworthy that, co-organized by European University and organized by Khortytsia National Academy of Ukraine, an international conference was held last year as well, which was attended by representatives of higher education institutions from several countries around the world.

At the end of the conference, participants were awarded certificates.
