A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Solidarity Fund and the European University

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between by Prime minister established solidarity fund and the European University.


The signing ceremony was held at the Georgian Government Administration and was signed by Ia Makatsaria, Head of the Solidarity Fund, and Tamar Zarginava, Vice-Rector of the European University.


The parties also discussed the details of cooperation and agreed to hold a telethon on March 7 with the support of the European University, whose main purpose will be to help children and young people with cancer diagnoses.


Interested businesses and spectators will have several opportunities to get involved in charity: During the marathon, the citizens will be able to transfer money to the "Solidarity Fund" by calling the paid number - 0901121212, as well as by transferring the desired amount to the fund's account.


The Georgian Solidarity Fund was established in 2014 at the initiative of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and by a decree of the Government of Georgia. The purpose of the foundation’s activities it to finance the treatment and diagnosis of children and young people under 22 years of age with cancer.
