Carl Hartzell, Archil Talakvadze, and Davit Zalkaliani addressed the European University Online Winter School participants

European University launches online winter school, "Europeanization and Democratization: Georgia and the European Union".

The winter school was opened today and its participants were addressed by the Rector of the European University Nino Taliashvili, the Ambassador of the European Union Carl Hartzell, the chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani.

"Online Winter School" Europeanization and Democratization: EU and Georgia" is the first tangible result of the cooperation between the European University and the European Union, of which our university is very proud.

Within the framework of the Winter School, you will receive interactive information from European University professors about Georgia's Europeanization and Democratization, the thematic issues covered by the Association Agreement, Georgia's European foreign and regional policy, and current challenges of Europeanization. "Legislative and executive representatives, civil society leaders and industry experts will share their practical experience."- Rector of European University Nino Taliashvili addressed the participants.


The Winter School is organized by the European University, which received financial support from the Erasmus + Jean Monnet program under the EU Grant Competition (620916-EPP-1-2020-1-GE-EPPJMO-MODULE). This module also provides for research and conferences by the academic team.
