Job Fair Held as Part of the “InnovaVet” Project for Veterinary Students
On 17 November, within the framework of the “Veterinary Education Programs Development” (InnovaVet) project funded by the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF), a Career Fair was held for veterinary medicine students of partner universities. European University and the Georgian Technical University organized the event.
The fair brought together 15 companies operating in Georgia’s veterinary sector, including veterinary clinics, food production and distribution companies, research centers, and international organizations. During the event, students from European University and Georgian Technical University had the opportunity to meet with company HR managers, learn about working conditions, current vacancies, and explore various career development opportunities.
The event was attended and addressed by Nazi Farsadanishvili, Education Specialist at the Competitive Innovation Fund, Nikoloz Parjanadze, Vice-Rector for International Relations at European University, Giorgi Chichinadze, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Biosystems Engineering at Georgian Technical University.
More than 50 students from both universities participated in the career fair. The event played an important role in fostering collaboration between companies and future professionals, providing a platform for effective exchange of information, needs, and development perspectives.
