Internally Displaced Persons will receive free services at the European University Dental Clinic EU Dent

People temporarily displaced from Abkhazia will receive free dental services at the University Dental Clinic of “European University” – EU Dent.

This agreement is based on a memorandum signed between the EU Dent University Dental Clinic of “European University” and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Abkhazia.

The memorandum was signed by Sopio Samkharadze, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at European University and Director of the EU Dent Clinic, and Lasha Kardava, Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

According to the memorandum, temporarily displaced persons from Abkhazia aged over 50 and beneficiaries under the age of 17 will receive the following services free of charge at EU Dent:

For individuals over 50:

  • Tooth extraction
  • Therapeutic treatment (treatment of caries, pulpitis, and periodontitis) and treatment of periodontal diseases

For beneficiaries under 17:

  • Tooth professional cleaning and fluoride application
  • Fissure sealing

As part of its social responsibility efforts, European University continues to support the well-being of vulnerable groups. The aim of this cooperation is to support displaced populations and improve their access to healthcare services.
