Baia Kublashvili, Head of the Psychology Program and affiliated associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the European University, is currently in Bucharest, Romania, at Titu Maiorescu University as part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility program.

The working visit commenced with a meeting with the Vice-Rector and a representative of the International Relations Office. Discussions focused on the university’s governance policies and included a campus tour.

On the first day, Professor Kublashvili delivered a lecture to around 60 students, presenting an overview of Georgia, the academic programs of European University, and the country’s experience in inclusive education.

Students actively engaged in the session, comparing Georgia’s approach with the Romanian model.

The visit continued with two additional lectures for other student groups. Alongside previously discussed topics, these sessions explored the relationship between psychology and medicine, highlighting how psychological approaches can be applied in patient support.

The Erasmus+ program also includes meetings with representatives of the psychology program and a visit to a hospital for individuals with mental health disorders to familiarize participants with support services.

The participation of the European University’s academic staff in Erasmus+ activities aims to promote the exchange of experience with international partners and strengthen institutional cooperation.
