Dental Medicine program in English language

Why Dental Medicine program at European University?

During the first two years of study, students are introduced to the basic concepts related to the structure and function of the human body. Most subjects during this phase are integrated and are delivered in the form of modules.

A significant portion of the curriculum during these early stages is dedicated to practical teaching. In the university's state-of-the-art laboratories, students are provided the opportunity to conduct hands-on experiments and hone practical skills. This allows them to more effectively understand various events and processes.

Throughout this phase, cutting-edge multimedia tools, such as 3D Organ VR Anatomy, are utilized to enhance the learning experience. Objectively Structured Practical Examinations (OSPE) are also incorporated within the basic subject modules.

For the pre-clinical training segment of the dental specialty courses, simulation rooms, fitted with the latest dental equipment and materials, are available. In these rooms, students practice procedures on phantoms to develop essential skills.

Incorporating practical and clinical skills training from the outset of the program enables students to work as dental assistants while pursuing their studies.

The faculty for the specialty courses includes leading dental specialists, practicing clinicians, and active members of industry associations. This ensures that students are exposed to and can master the latest advancements in the field.

Courses in the final semester are held in top dental clinics. This experience helps students in narrowing down their specialization choices and in honing the skills vital for successful employment.

Education is based on up-to-date literature, with searches for the newest editions and annual updates to the library collection. Additionally, the program emphasizes the development of research capabilities in students. This prepares them to integrate scientific evidence into clinical practice effectively. Moreover, within the university's Scientific Research Institute, students have the chance to engage in numerous interesting research endeavors.
