European University representatives attended the World Federation for Medical Education Conference

Tamar Zarginava, Vice-President of the European University, Nikoloz Parjanadze , Vice-Rector of the University, Natia Jojua , Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Tinatin Gognadze , Head of the Medical Doctor program of the European University attended the World Federation for Medical Education Conference 2025 , which took place in Bangkok, Thailand from 25-28 May 2025.
The representatives from the six Word Health Organization (WHO) regions and the two host organisations WFME and IMEAc participated in the opening ceremony representing world collaboration in medical education.
WFME 2025 conference brought together all the stakeholders of medical education from different countries worldwide, Universities , Regulatory bodies, Hospitals , etc.
Representatives of European University attended different sessionს related to modern trends and challenges in the context of medical education presented by the fields experts and educators throughout the world, the topics varying from achievements in medical research and practices to the practicalities of teaching and learning in medical educational programmes, including active use of AI in education and medicine.
The possibilities of future collaborations were also discussed with the conference delegates.
