#ERASMUSDAYS2025 – Public Lecture: Green Business Transition for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

On October 15, at European University, within the framework of Erasmus+ KA171 international cooperation, a public lecture was held on the topic: Green Business Transition for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.” The lecture was delivered by Liga Sileniece, a lecturer from Alberta College, Latvia.

The aim of the lecture was to highlight the importance and practical aspects of the green transition using the example of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The lecturer discussed in detail the dynamics of negotiations between consumers and suppliers in the context of the green transition process.

In addition to theoretical insights, Liga Sileniece shared real examples of Latvian small and medium-sized enterprises. Students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about sustainable business models, explore European perspectives, and discuss how similar practices could be implemented in the Georgian context.
