A multidisciplinary conference on infectious pathologies was held at ‘European University
On November 29, the Department of Infectious Diseases conference, titled “Multidisciplinary View of Infectious Pathologies – Diagnostics, Therapy, Prevention,” was held at “European University,” organized by the Faculty of Medicine.
The conference was opened by the Rector of “European University,” Nino Taliashvili, after which the attendees were addressed by Maia Zhamutashvili, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine of “European University.”
The Chairpersons of the conference were:

Zaza Avaliani – Doctor of Medicine, Affiliated Professor at European University and Head of the Department of Pathology, Director of the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases

Ramaz Kurashvili – Doctor of Medicine, Affiliated Professor at European University and Head of the Department of Endocrinology, Chairman of the Union of Diabetes and Endocrinological Associations of Georgia, Expert in Endocrinology at the Ministry of Health.
The conference was attended by Vice-Rectors of “European University,” the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, faculty administration, academic/invited personnel, and representatives of the field.
