A competition has been announced at the Faculty of Medicine for a clinical internship at the University Hospital of Munich
The Faculty of Medicine of European University is announcing a competition for students of the English and Georgian-language MD programs to participate in a fully funded clinical internship in Germany.
The selected students will complete their clinical internship at the University Hospital of Munich.
The program does not provide academic credits and aims to support students in enhancing their knowledge and practical skills.
Period of the clinical practice: February 9-13, 2026.
Eligibility requirements for participation:
- The student’s academic performance/GPA for the Spring semester of the 2024-2025 academic year must be 3.0 or higher.
- Level of study: Active-status students of the English- or Georgian-language MD program who are in their 7th semester or higher.
- The student must have the right to enter Schengen countries visa-free, or at the time of registration must present a valid Schengen visa (covering March 2026).
Selection criteria:
- Motivational letter
- Interview in English
Applicants who wish to participate in the competition must send their motivational letter (in English) to studentscompetition@eu.edu.ge by November 5.
The interviews with candidates will be held on November 11.
As a result of the competition, 5 students will be selected.
European University will cover the costs for flight tickets, hotel accommodation, and program fee for the selected students.
